WonderBall is an exciting fast paced invasion sport and is essentially a
child friendly version of Gaelic Football.

Participant can pass the ball like a netball, dribble it like a basketball and even play with it on the ground like a football.

When scoring, the ball can be aimed into a goal, over H shaped posts or into a hoop – with each method being worth a different number of points!

For this specific club, children will embark on a journey to explore and improve in a broad range of technical and tactical skills. Children will be given opportunities to take part in in house matches alongside working on individual elements of the sport.

All children who take part in our WonderaBall clubs will be given the opportunity to join us at our WonderBall Festival on Saturday 12th July (so keep the date free) – which will bring together teams from different schools who will battle it out to be our 2024/25 WonderBall champions! This will take place at Churchdown School Academy. All information related to this will be provided within the first few weeks of the start of the club. Children who sign up for our club are not obliged to attend the festival (though we would love it if they all did). Please be aware that there will be additional charges (starting at £16).
