We really hope that your child/ren have enjoyed their first dodgeball sessions with us! As we communicated in our original club letter, our dodgeball sessions are running in several schools across Gloucestershire, and we will be bringing them all together for some friendly competition at our SnowBall Fight Festival! This will take place on Sunday 10th December at Churchdown School Academy, Winston Road, Gloucester, GL3 2RB. We expect the event to run from 9am – 1.30pm, but this is subject to change depending on the number of players who sign up and we will communicate the finalised plan by Sunday 3rd December. NEW THIS YEAR – grown ups are welcome to accompany their children on the day or leave them in our duty of care. Please see below for details. All children who attend will receive a medal, with special awards going to 3 children from each key stage and for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. Additional extras also available are: - A team t-shirt (team colour + With The Ball sponsor logo) (+£12.00 pre-order only). - A personalised team t-shirt (as above + printed player initials, With The Ball badge, & Handball 2023) (+£16.00 pre-order only). - A relevant coloured bib should you decide not to order a t-shirt, which will be returnable at the end (free of charge). - Match day programmes (Download free or £1 for a printed copy on the day). - Access to our activity inflatables (weather dependent) – (£2 for 10 minutes or £4 for unlimited access on the day). If your child would like to be a player on the day and you would like to order them a team t-shirt (see below for details), then it is important to complete the sign up process via Class4Kids before Friday 24th November. Sign ups without t-shirts will still be open until Friday 1st December. Anyone accompanying a player on the day will get free entry… so bring lots of support! Once we have all the sign ups; teams will be formed from each individual club. The number of teams per club depends on the number of players that sign up, but we will make space for all! As it stands, we will ask everyone to have arrived by 9am and will aim to finish no later than 1.30pm. Please be aware that these details are subject to change depending on the number of players who sign up and we will communicate the finalised plan by Sunday 3rd December. All players must come prepared with appropriate sportswear, footwear, a packed lunch and a re-fillable water bottle. We advise everyone else to bring drinks and food as well, as these will not be available throughout the day. Where relevant, please ensure that you bring along any medication or care plans that your child has and ensure that they are on hand throughout the event (asthma inhaler, EpiPen’s, written plans etc). To order your t-shirt - Please sign up via Class4Kids before Friday 24th November at 5pm. On that evening, we will send you an order form and details of how to make payment. It is important that this is completed and payment made before 9pm on Sunday 26th November. To book for drop off and collection (i.e. leave your child in our duty of care for the day) - Please sign up via Class4Kids before 5pm on Friday 1st December. On that evening, we will send out instructions of how to book and give payment details. Additional charges of £15.00 per child will apply, which includes use of the activity inflatables. It is important that the given instructions are followed and payment is made before 9pm on Sunday 3rd December. TO ACCESS OUR 33% PUPIL PREMIUM DISCOUNTS, PLEASE CONTACT US ON THE DETAILS PROVIDED.
